Some time back, maybe a year or so, it was mentioned there was a free camp in Bundaberg. Somewhere near a park in a back street. I'm thinking it might have been the park they call the Swamp.
I have searched on here for the thread with no luck.
How do you get more than three threads up when you go into search. Also have been right through this topic page by page to no avail.
Can anyone remember the details please?

Must be getting old Sheba, I should have said 5. Yes I saw that one. I know there was quite a descussion about the one in town by the park. Must have had a bad heading not to be able to find it now.

I also read about a freebie in the Bundy region some time back, but not sure where it is or where I read about it HW.
I do think it was some distance from Bundy though and for some reason think it was north?? Not sure if this is a help or not......sorry HW.
EDIT.....just wondering if it may have been in one of the editions of Caravanning News.

The free camp listed in the book at Bundy port no longer exists, sighns up stating no camping.
There is a roadside free camp about 15/20 kls out of bundy on the road to Gin Gin, called sharons nature reserve. Stayed a night there a few weeks back, some traffic noise.

Thanks Boroma and JustCruisin, yes know all those ones and the one on the road back to Childers. None are the one discussed on here sometime back. I know it was in town, near the park at the end of a street in an industrial area. I'm thinking it would be somewhere in the area of the Bundaberg Rum factory but the other side of that main road that takes you to the factory.

I have two parked there now Ken, waiting for the weather to change so they can move on. PM when you are in the area. No use coming here if you think the weather is better, been raining for days.
