I was wondering how many of us a full-time nomads.
Have met a lot of couples full time but not so many singles.....and no single women travellers.
This is a great way of life. I am working on a greater comfort level but am not sorry I started.
The wonderful peace and quiet is fantastic away from TV and radio etc.
LOVE IT....... and those stars at night .....totally awesome.

I have done all sorts of different crafts over the years. Usually something with the sewing machine, but now do landscape painting which I really enjoy. I am now looking for another hobby to add to this. Might try jewelry making, although storage space may be a bit of a problem.
Cheers!

I'm not out there full time as much as I would like to be, but get out there when I can. There are a large number on here and have also met others who are not on GN.

I'm a full-time caravan dweller, currently parked up in Adelaide, and taking to the road in another form. You may "bump into me" anywhere, anytime, but not literally. Always nice to meet nomads over and over and over again.

great to hear it.
I was told I was one of a very few living full-time......and in a derogatorive way.
Was up late last night talking to two more couples who pulled in here.
one couple I shall keep in contact with for sure.
Was given a slide on box for the trailer yesterday as well.
NO NOT LUCKY.......just all the stuff I have done for others over the years coming back a little. [no such thing as luck]
This sight was so littered when I arrived yesterday.....partly because the bins provided have not been emptied in a coon's age. All cleaned up now tho mostly paper so was easy. But a plastic shopping bag full of 'other' stuff to go into a bin some-where else later in the day.
will change my order with the trailer company this morning

Fancy someone being rude about solo females travelling alone. There has to be hundreds and hundreds out there. You only have to go through the list of users on this forum and count them, you will find heaps. Its not only males who are capable of travelling alone. Not sure where you are at the moment dawa but somewhere in your travels you will come across many.

Dawa you haven't entered the poll. So far no fulltime solo females.
Edit: Also Dawa, maybe you need to be heading further north to the warmer weather where they may be looking for the sun.

Yes, I know it's cold there - will stop at BigW on the way and buy one of those oil filled heater thingies. Where do I find the survey?

I've seen a couple of clips of that sort of thing lately. It just goes to show anything can happen on the road, and we have to be prepared.
It's about defensive driving, and making sure there is space between you and the other vehicles. Be alert. We need more "lerts"

Does it really matter whether you are a full time nomad?
I would have thought just getting out there and enjoying yourself is the thing.
When I get my caravan I will travel and travel and travel but will also enjoy being able to go back home every now and then.
