I hope he and Mrs W are Ok out there. It's a big country out there for little wombats to be wandering around.

I've noticed that too Doug. Seemed to have been a bit quiet for a few days now. Maybe now winter is here, sort of, everyone is away or heading away up north and don't have time to come on until they get where they are going.

Hey! Wombat has been around since 1861!! We have arrived in Moonta today and copper was found here by Patrick 'Paddy' Ryan at the mouth of a 'wombat burrow'!!! Hehe.

I bin here Doug, but it sure is quiet without Wombat around. Guess we better enjoy it while it lasts
Cheers!

I washed the car yesterday and was too buggered to do any forum hunting. I'm sure you'll all get on without me. I had to buy a new set of driving lights. Both of them were smashed by flying rocks and wheel nuts. (long story). So I bought a really cheap set 55 W. They're not allowed to be any brighter for "wig wagging" on the job in some states. Now I'm devising a mesh cover to deter any flying rocks.

Yes we saw that a couple of weeks ago when we stayed at Port Hughes. Thought about making a comment on the forum as well. Facinating place Moonta. Did you go to the museum? We have lots of family history in the area.
Enjoy your stay.
Cheers

I guess I am a bit versatile. I have to polish the windscreen to remove some of the grit scratches accumulated last trip. Some time soon I'll also have to polish Rosy. She's looking a bit dull. The polish will also seal the stone chips on the paintwork and make them rust resistant. The light covers have worked out okay for what I want. I won't really know until I get blasted with rocks again.
