why a PM?, why not share with everybody?
That's what I wondered too Wombat.
Cheers,
Sheba.

Hey, Sorry guys, I must have had a GN moment when I put it up as a PM. that was yesterday, I only get to log on randomly at the moment as I am currently working. Here is the message I sent to Miffy
We have been travelling since July 2011, and have worked at Birdsville Races, on a 70,000 acre cattle station, driven trucks in Bowen, and currently working in a hotel in central South Australia as housekeepers.
We gain our work through two sources. this website, on the main page, go to help wanted, or post your own ad on the work wanted page - you will be surprised how many calls you get. The second is a group called WorkAboutAustralia - google them, join and you get emails every week with job opportunities. http://www.workaboutaustralia.com.au

Miffy's post sounded to me like she was looking for work to be able to do at home (in the van) on her computer, not finding normal work via the internet. I might be wrong.

hey all, thanks for all the responses, and you are right,i am looking for an income working from the van and on the computer but ,from all replies it seems that the majority of offers are either scams,or not worth the time of day.i do appreciate the email from dunmowin and will certainly follow that up.who knows what might come from it..should i find something online that delivers what it promises i will put it here for all to see. cheers, happy travels and look forward to catching up one day, somewhere for a happy hour. miffy

I do surveys online and they usually pay a little by accumulated points, as gift cards at the business of your choice. I also write articles for magazines. The topics are my experiences in a diverse range of subjects, and they are submitted as "unsolicited articles". Articles with photos can attract a periodic, reasonable income. I don't do any work online which requires me to pay for anything. In the real world, you don't have to pay to get a job. The same applies to online work. I have also retrained, come out of retirement, and achieved accreditation as an oversize pilot, or wide load escort. That means I can still drive and travel while earning money. I don't have to tow the van. In fact, towing the van is not allowed in this job. Do an audit of all your skills, talents and experiences, and work out a way you can earn a living, or supplement your income using these skills, talents and experiences as you travel. Welcome to Grey Nomads, and Good luck!
