We are wondering if anyone is heading East from Perth,
Leaving on the !st July.
WE intend to drive our Coaster bus across the "Sand Patch" and head for the Snow in Victoria.
This will be a very slow trip with plenty of stops, Bush Camping (and Happy Hours) along the way.
Anyone interested in joining us, will be most welcome.
Jim & Jean.

Welcome Jim and Jean. I like your bus, a good size. I'm already over in the east and heading north but welcome anyway.

Howdy Happeywanderer,
Thanks for the welcome,
We have had the Bus around 12 Months now,
It's cost us a fortune in getting it ready for the road, you name it I've replaced it.
It's now fully equipped with Shower, Toilet, and a 4.4 kva Gennie, sleeps two and runs on Petrol and Gas, a bit over 800km before refills.
I noticed in one of your postings that you are camped at some Reservoir and it's a free camp site, that's the sort of places we will be looking for when we get to Victoria.
Happy traveles, we may see you on the road sometime, just look for the Blue Coaster with the name of "OLE BLUE"
Cheers Jim & Jean

Howdy kiwi-as,
"Yep" you're dead right there,
I'm an ex-kiwi, hale from Nelson, I've been here in this great country since 67, got hitched to a Perth girl,
then made the mistake of returning to N.Z. in 75, stuck it out until 82, then returned to Aust, been here ever since.
We rebuilt an old 1970 Classic caravan and did the big lap around the Block trip a couple of years back now, took us over 7 months in all.
Had a ball down in Tassie for three months, very very friendly people, you've just gotta meet them.
This time we have decided to go find some Snow.....
Been many years since I have slung a Snow Ball and after going through an all-time record of Heat Waves here in Perth, we can't wait for some cooler conditions.
We hope you folk enjoy your trip around the Block,
"Man" it's a big big country out there, have fun.

Howdy Gerty,
At this stage we don't think we will get as far a Canberra, in fact
with the price of fuel going through the roof, we will have to watch that fuel gauge very closely.
L.P.G. in Perth today....$0.90 cpl
However, should we venture in your direction, we will certainly give you a call.
