Enjoy, Vic. Go and have a look at all the pretty new things you can buy, then remember that you do quite well without any of those expensive toys, and just have an ice-cream. Thats what I did at the last show we went to!

Well just got back from an enjoyable day at the show, weather was fine and a nice sea breeze (Claremont is not far from the coast). Food and drink was a bit expensive, but then the free inside parking compensated for that.
Was surprised to see Adria Caravans were not at the show this year, one of the complaints of some dealers over east is the Perth show is too close to the Melbourne one and they don't have time to get their exhibits etc over when the Melbourne one closes.
A'Van were out in force and Jeff Van Barwick (junior, son of owner of A'Van Australia) from A'Van was in attendance as was the WA A'Van Dealer.
Some good stuff there, but other than the Mrs buying a driving sleeve from the Cancer foundation, fish and chips & drink, that was the limit of our purchasers.

Good buy Billy, from what I have read the Jurgens has a good rap and because they were designed for South Africa which has similar conditions to us (roads etc) are sturdily made. Now built in Australia.
Did you get any fuel bonus as per their link above ?

When I went to the Adelaide show in 2008 and last year I could have earned a fortune as a "consultant" asking van viewers what they were planning to use the van for, long-term or holidays. They were looking a the 3-bedroom house with an A frame for short camping trips. I casually passed some ideas by them, and made them think. It was good fun. I still think it's funny to see people looking at buying a huge van to replace the 4 bedroom house with all mod cons when they go away on trips, long and short.

Afraid not Vic, that fuel offer is ayear old. I told them they take it off or they risked a heavy fine from the ACCC.

I reckon if they had it on their website then they should honour it, hope they do better for any warranty items that may come up Billy.
Blaze, I had a look at those induction cooking plates and watched the demo, wow, what a great item they were, a bit out of my price range though but well worth it for anyone doing long trips or on the road full time.

Are the induction cooking plates like the induction cook tops you can have in your kitchen? Apparently you have to get special cookware for them as some normal pots don't work, is that right?

Hmmmm.....I'm not that keen on going Gerty but SWMBO wants to so I'll tag along as the driver, lol
Who knows I might (just might) see something I like but will keep my hands in my pockets, but ice creams might be a different story!!
It has gone quick Gary, this time last year we were having a talk and a bit of a rest there, lol
