We installed a Waeco CR 140 compressor fridge in our van, the first time we went away for 4 weeks was in July last year out to Windorah up to Saaphire and back to Gold Coast, it worked a treat. In January this year we went to Lennox Head for a very wet and humid week and noticed that it was frosting up at the back inside the fridge, when I rang the dealer about it he said he would be worried if it didn't do that, does that sound right and if so how often should I defrost it, thanks for any advice.

If its humid weather yes it will frost up at the back. The amount will depend on how often the door is opened. Defrost if its more than 2-3mm thick. Easy way to defrost use a hair dryer. Also check the door seal is fitting properly when closed, especialy the bottom of the door.

Thanks everyone, that is exactly what the dealer said, so I can rest easy now.
