Rats Ma, I would love to say yes but I don't think I will be able.
Brett's roster sucks, no advance knowledge other than a few days.
My daughter starts her new job on the 11th of April so guess who babysits.

If it turns out to be like the one we had in Mudgee a few years ago it will be great. We had a ball and when we arrived not one of us knew the other but that changed quick smart. Happy hours were indeed happy.

Would that be cow bells or tinkle bells GS. Either way it's great that you are coming. That makes three of us and our respectives.

If nothing else you can line me up and throw rocks at me

Just because Ma is no longer on nomads doesn't mean any of the information on the first post has changed. The get together at Ariah Park, and the trip to Darwin and the west coast is still a goer.

UPDATE
Due to the amount of water around and over Ariah Park, and predictions that it may stay around for some time, the place of meet has been relocated to the Temora Airfield Caravan Park. $25 a night powered site, unpowered sites cheaper.
Which, as an ex RAAFie, is ideal for me as there is the aviation museum adjacent to the caravan park and lots of old airplanes (two of which I worked on back when Pontius was an air cadet and JC played halfback for jerusalem).

Ariah park is great place to camp, Temora (whole town) is not dog friendly.
If any of you on your way to Darwin are coming through Parachilna SA, please call in - we will be working at the camp grounds beside the pub.

In the past seven years I have stayed at the airport at Temora around 30 times. I had a permanent booking for every weekend they had flying. I disagree with the claim that the airport site is not pet friendly, there were dogs all over the place and the owners of the dogs followed the dog rules.
Not sure about the caravan park on the Junee side of Temora, although it is run by the same people.

I can't comment on the caravan parks, only the parks. We searched high and low for a park where we could stop for lunch. Everyone we visited displayed a sign saying NO ANIMALS, unless it is a GUIDE DOG. As a responsible dog owner, we also follow the dog rules, walk him on a lead and pick up after him.
We drove out of town and sat in the car for lunch.

Guest list getting longer. Roll call good so far. Although no planes are" öfficially" listed as flying, there is a good chance that there may be a test flight of a warbird.

haven't been to anything like this, sounds like fun, if I can get Hobie out of his big recliner chair I'll see if we can make it, as we are newbies is there anything extra we need to know or do about joining in, I've figured out for myself that the kayaks won't work on an airstrip so we may not pack them! looking forward to lots of laughs cheers venus

Apart from the essential items you have for travelling, the only extras needed are your sense of humour and tipple of choice.
