It was $12pn but he only comes around on Saturday afternoons and like he said if you happen to leave before he gets there or arrive after he has been then that's good luck to you.
It is right on the banks of the river. There is no power and the water is from a tap up near the toilets but you have to have a container to get it.
It is a lovely spot. Just one word of warning; WATCH OUT FOR THE KOOKABURRAS they even steal the bait off your hook.
We have a 21ft van and you can camp wherever you want. Size is nothing compared with the size of the camping area.
Regards
Elaine

I surely will Jan. We don't use the Pacific Highway much anymore so will have to put my thinking cap on. You might think about investing in the CAMPS AUSTRALIA WIDE book. It is the bible when it comes to free and low cost camping.
You can pick one up at NRMA offices or newsagents or even 2nd hand book shops.

When we are home on the mainland (currently in Tassie) I would say 95% of the time we free camp.

Nothing wrong with the older versions. You will find in the newer ones that some of the camps have a slightly different number so if a number is quoted on here just look in the general area and you should be able to work things out as most of us put the name of the camp on the post as well.
