Just thought I would let you know had good news today from my surgeon who operated on my hand two and a half months ago I don't have to have it strapped up anymore and the swelling should go down in another three months also the soreness should wear off over the course of the next three months and I should get the strength back in it. For all that are sick on the forum do hope that you get good news and that you will all be fit and well and ready to get back on the road soon. Helena.

That is good news Helena. I cut my finger to the bone yesterday and that is painful enough so I can only imagine what you are going through. All the best my friend.

Keep up the exercises to restore the strength and flexibility of your hand Helena. Life is quite difficult if your hands don't work properly. I hate it and get really frustrated when I can't do the things I used to do with my hands. Mostly arthritis but also carpel tunnel etc. I had surgery in 2000 but the strength hasn't restored properly.

Wow thats a long recovery Helena. My sympathy! At least its good to be assured of recovery though.
I've realised how lucky I was that my RSI in the wrist didnt get too bad, and was successfully treated with acupuncture, and changing jobs!
