I want to buy Clearview mirrors for towing my van with and am interested in feedback from anyone who has these mirrors (fitting to Nissan Navara D40). One advantage I see with these mirrors is that they bolt on where your original mirrors fit. Are there any other advantages or disadvantages. Also do they give good vision down the side of the van.

Hi Rod, The mirrors are great. A little pricey, but worth it.
Not sure whether you noticed, but there is a topic on this in the General Forum, first page, which gives a bit of info. All the best. Alan.

They look good, but they are way out of a poor old pensioner like me's price range.

What mongrels walk our streets? I'm sorry you had to have this experience at the hands of some mongrel who doesn't have enough brains to respect the property of other people. I hope you can get them fitted ok on Friday. That really is a bad experience. It would be good if you knew who did it, but I fear you won't get that chance. Take is easy. Don't stress about it. It can be fixed, and the low-lifes will get theirs some time. Smart arses always come unstuck! I hope your eyes are ok too. Take it easy. It's the only way to take it.
