You didn't get up to Greens Lake when we had the get together Alfreda? Thats a shame as it was so enjoyable. Was going to give you a call as I went through Bendigo earlier this week but never got that far, came home because it was so windy, Now the opportunity is gone for now. Heading up to Edwards River for a few days over Xmas holidays, so won't be around here either. If you are ever up this way let me know. Could be heading through Bendigo in the new year sometime.
Merry Xmas to you and you gorgeous little dogs.

I'll be on my own on Boxing day, but wrong neck of the woods for you, sorry.
If you were up near Newcastle we could throw something on the BBQ and sit back with a drink and watch the dogs.
As it is, I'll kick back, and watch the cricket.

I'll be on my own but haven't really decided where yet. I need to hang around the Canberra area for a while yet so it will probably be somewhere close - Woods Reserve perhaps, or Kangaroo Valley maybe.

It certainly was. It went on for about 2 weeks in total with different ones coming and going. Some like myself stayed the whole time. Others came and went depending on their shopping needs and appointments.

DB if you can get over to WA you are more than welcome at our gathering - lots of solo travellers and it will be a great few days, not just one and we could throw on a big birthday celebration for you as well. So jump in your van and start peddling, there's plenty of time for you to get here. But if it's too far I will be sending you good thoughts and bestwishes.

There is also Ayson's reserve near Elmore. There will be people there.
Last year I spent at Rosedale and a senior lady came in who was going to spend Xmas on her won and was looking for company.
I helped her put up her pop top (wizbang) and we spent the whole festive season together with a few others. Get out and find somewhere there is people if you wish to have company.
Myself it is usually shed day where I cleaned the shed out but now it is trailer day where I re-organise my trailer.
This year will be my first xmas with a group for about 20 years as I am looking after a family whilst Mum is in hospital so will spend it with an extended family and we will have one on xmas day (not sure where yet) and one when Mum comes home hopefully in late Jan.
Regards Brian

Hey Sir Wombat, let myself in for that one didn't I? John is camping at my place for a few weeks and I also have several backpackers staying here as well. So we will be celebrating xmas over several days from several cultural perspectives.
Anyone on here is welcome to popin or stay overnight but the property is so steep it's not suitable for caravans or big motorhomes, but small vans etc are easily accommodated.
So if anyone wants to come PM me and we can work out the details.
