for a long time I suffered from mozzy bites..if there was one in 100klm of me it would find me
I ordered a packet and tried one
They are approx 3/4" square.....kinda like double sided block tape you peal off one side..... I feel you shouldn't stick them directly on your clothing....maybe as suggested .place on a hat or if camping put them on your camp chair. ...covers a 1mtr square area they say
They smell like repellent (flyspray)..or citronella
these patches do work.....last night while at training.....I put 1 square on the inner back of my fire fighting helmet.......the mozzies that were thick at the time actually were hanging about 2ft in front of me all night.......I didnt get one bite all night.......others were waving and slapping themselves .
Conclusion:
THEY WORK FOR ME!!!!
I have no association with this Company....just letting you know

Hi,
I have just read your item about the Mossie patch. As we are going away tomorrow in our van to be by the sea I am going out to buy some at our local chemist, and try it while we are away.
So thank you and I will let you know how it worked.

I'd hope to find that out as well FF .. and as a long-shot it might even deter the occasional flea which will bypass a dog to get to me ..

Hi everyone, meant to get back to sooner about the patches, I went to our local chemist and got some,we arrived at the Miami caravan park in Mandurah W A, got out of our car and it was flies that attacked us, they were really bad so put a patch on to try, it took about 10 minutes and there were no more flies, no flies for the rest of the day and no mossies that night either.
I recommend them to everybody I talk to, every chemist seems to have them now,but diffrent to the ones you put us onto, they are between 10 to 20$ a packet, just great will not be without them on our way around OZ this year AT LAST.
Happy travelling to all the Grey Nomads out there, but how do we know who you are? Do you have the stickers on your vans like we do?

It doesn't give a brand name as such, Smokeydk. The ones I got are in a blue box and all it says is "Mozzie Patch Insect Repellent".

I got my packet of Mossie Patches today at the local chemist. $9.95 for 10. They say they will last for 12 hours. I wonder if you don't need it for 12 hours can you re-seal them and re-use them another time. Must try. I reckon they'd be great for the grandson who reacts really badly to mossies and no matter how well you watch him he always seems to get 'eaten'.

I didn't put my patch back in its packet, but I did put my wrist bands back in their packets. They still smell just as strong so hopefully will work just as well next time I need them.
