I have been trying to do a search for a particular topic, but no matter what I enter in the search box the results only show me 5 topics, with no option of scrolling to the rest of the topics that may match.
For instance, if I search for 'free', it tells me that there are 77 topics that match the search, but it only shows me 5 old ones, and at the bottom it says page 1 of 1. Am I doing something wrong, or is it something to do with my settings (I had a look but couldn't find anything that appeared relevant) or is the search thing not working? It doesn't seem to matter whether I use the quick search box or the advanced search, I have the same problem.

The short answer....No.
I have found it to be too "flakey" (for want of a better word) to be of much use.

As the forum is third-party hosted by Sparklit Activeboard, Cindy probably has little control over the problem.
As Bill suggests try Google.

Google can't help if you are looking for a specific topic on this site.
Cindy can contact Activeboard and they should be able to fix it.

Try entering this in google "thegreynomads.activeboard.com camp oven"
oops, forgot to mention; without the quotation marks.

Thanks troopy, a little cumbersome but your method certainly works a lot better than the search facility supplied with the forum.
