This tree was caught stealing from a local milkbar so they put it in prison

I believe it was thought to be extint and all the trees now are the product of a single tree that was found about 10 years ago cheers blaze

And the reason for putting them in "gaol" is that people would pull them up! The one in the National Bot Gdns is in a bigger gaol now that it has grown on a bit, not sure if they'll take the bars away eventually, vandals love destroying precious things, sadly.
