Be gentle on me. I have a Xerox Phaser printer. My computer is a compaq Presario CQ56.
Question: I would like to print labels, what sort of paper (with labels on) do I get, or type of stationery to achieve this.
My idea is to do my own labels : On the label is would read something like:
Lynettes Dukkah
Contains: ...............
Weight:
Price: Use by date:
Obviously the label would be small, but one could read it well enough.
Thanking you all in anticipation.

If you buy a well known/widely used brand of labels such as avery, I believe that you can download templates online to set up a Word page to print accurately on the labels which will then work with any printer that prints A4

My wife used to print labels for a freind for her jams. She used Avery brand label sheets from the local news agent. The ones she used were 64X26.7mmX30, there are a variety of sizes of these stick on labels. The program she used was Publisher/ Labels.

If you contact Avery they will send you a free CD with the software, or you can download it.
Cheers, Peter

I have Labelistix which come with an assortment of layouts : 38x34mm - 40 to a page, 63x38 - 21 per page, 99x57 - 10 per page, 145x18 - 15 bpp, & full A4 sheet. You then download free software to make your label print on any one of the labels left on a part used sheet. The box seems to last forever - 125 sheets!
