As if Howard and I havent been through enough lately.
Son Michael and partner Caroline had baby boy on tuesday in Melbourne, fantastic news. everything went well little boy. So we have been emotionally rolling with that.
Well today we both just about had a stroke, Howards daughter posted pictures of her wedding, she had told no one she was getting married. Poor Howie was gutted, shocked but what can you do.? Jeez this new generation are selfish, and self indulgent to the max.
I think we are just about shock proof now, we have certainly experienced the good , bad and the ugly in the last 18 months. But this week tops it off as being quite memorable.

I feel for you Lynette and particularly for Howard.
Blue's son got married without telling anyone till after the event but in this family circumstance it was the best thing that they could have done and we were both so very please that they did it their way. Caused a lot of dissent I can tell you but not from us.
Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your lives so I sincerely wish that it is a good one for you both.

Oh we are so sorry Lynette, we cannot begin to know how you and Howard must feel, we really hope the future brings something better.

It happens too often. My sister in law in NZ only found out her grandaughter had got married and was pregnant after the event when her son saw it on facebook. She hadn't even invited her own parents, they knew nothing about it either.

Thanks for that, we are supposed tobe catching the bus into brisbane today from hyperdome to see the queen, it would be sheer madness to drive, no parking etc etc.
Do you think I should wear a hat. I will take my camera, might get lucky.

Have just got on this thread Lyn and by now you will have wined and dined in the company of Royals, ha ha, well I see things are still a bit out of control but never mind as the saying goes, just another bump in the rocky road of life. I wonder if HRM has these problems, oh yeah I forgot about Charlie, Fergie, Margaret and all those other rellies she probably wishes were someone elses.
