So here it is folks, with Tezza's blessing, hope most can make it on that day if possible.
I have booked a table but need to confirm the numbers for joining tables etc before the day, so if you think you can make it let me know by a post here or by pm so I have an idea of how big a table we need.
Everyone orders and pays individually when leaving. As arrival times may be staggered, suggest it is better to order when you are ready to eat rather than wait for everyone to arrive, also easier for the staff at the restaurant if it is staggered.
So;
Fast Eddy's Carousel Cannington (On Albany Highway, in Westfield Shopping Centre).
Note: The menu is revised regularly, so you may have to ring them if you want to know exactly what is available on the day, but there will be plenty of choices irrespective so probably not warranted.

We will be there, (2 places please Vic) just hope we don't need to cancel because of Dr's appointments.
We don't need a lot of room we are only small animals, may have to nip in the backdoor so that nobody see's us.

I was at Camera House near Fast Eddy's yesterday so had a look in, the lunch specials menu only has 7 items, non suitable for diabetics, just went to look at the web site and they say their menu is being updated.
I like to eat, roots and leaves in that order

Would like to attend but it has to take me more time to get across from Esperance. Hopefully the get together will be a great success and another may be planned later.

Hi John, it would have been nice to have seen you there if it had fitted in with your travel location etc and I am sure everyone would have loved to meet you.
Unfortunately at that time of the year a lot of work people are having their wind up luncheons/get togethers before X'mas and also a lot of people doing their pre X'mas things etc so I couldn't make it any later, but hopefully we will get the chance to meet you elswhere somewhere along the track. I have sent you a pm.

Hi Wombie, I didn't know you were diabetic. There are other types of meals you can get there, just may not be on the specials menu. Is Bruschetta a diabetic meal? You can ring a day or so before and order a special meal for diabetics on the day.
There are other dishes not on the lunch time specials too, but would be more expensive.
Last time we were at the Morley one, Carol had Wedges with sour cream (more than she could eat) which were done beautifully and I had Bruschetta, also very nice.
We will probably have Fish and Chips with whatever it comes with on the day, not sure yet.
What did Fast Eddy's look like Wombat? I have only been in the Perth and Morley ones before. Next time your down that way ask to see the main menu, that will show you the range of foods they have. One of the girls I spoke to said don't take too much notice of the website, best to ring a day or so before if you want to know the menu on the day etc as it is changed occasionally.
Elle, it would be great to catch up with you if you can make it, I understand that the distance and your plans would need to be considered, but here's hoping.
For those who maybe don't want a meal but just a snack or coffee, I can't see any reason why you couldn't turn up as well, just let me know if you can for seating numbers etc.
Don't forget to ask for The Grey Nomads table.

Grilled Fish & Chips is my favourite. (& I do not mean grilled chips)
The menu online only said being updated.
Some restaurant's do not like people ordering just a snack or coffee at lunchtime, so that may not be an option
Fast Eddy's looked like a restaurant/cafe with table's and chair's and people serving meal's.
I will be there if gubby is not.

Hi Guys and girls Wish we could be there but we are both flat out with work ATM, need to top up the coffers again. Wish you all the best the the get together and maybe we can have another one on a weekend in say feb.
