It has been suggested that I move the Tezza's post to this get together forum, see their post here;
"In Perth, karnup, ludlow, fremantle and bindoon
Reply Quote
Hi Nomads, between now and Christmas we are housesitting in the places listed. If anyone in that area would like a cuppa, or something stronger, please let us know as the few nomads we have met have been very nice and we would like to meet some more. We are in Thornlie till 24th, then Karnup till 3/11, then Ludlow till 12/11, then Fremantle till 5/12 and then Bindoon till 26/1. Then we head to Monash S.A. for March and Bribie island for May."
Terry (Tezza's) has pm'd me and said probably the best date for a group meet up for them is Tuesday November 15th 2011 Onwards. Please pm them if you would like to meet up as individuals somewhere else.
I have suggested that maybe a lunch at Sizzlers Innaloo WA could be a good place to meet, it is not far from the Kwinana/Mitchell Freeway off ramp and those wanting to come by RV could stay at nearby caravan parks (eg; Karryinyup Waters where Blaze is etc). Here is some info on Sizzlers Innaloo;
Alternative venue suggestions etc welcome, but please pm Tezza's to see if it fits in with their plans etc.

I have just amended the date to Tuesday 15th November onwards as per Tezza's info by pm. Not sure if midweek (less busy) or Sat/Sunday (families/kids etc) would be best but I suppose depends on who is working and who is not. Whatever date is chosen will not suit everyone. Again, any alternative venue suggestion welcome, but check with Tezza's to see if ok by them.
I have the flu at the moment and both of us have specialist appointments too in November one date to be confirmed by the hospital so not sure yet.

Thanks Wombat, yes if it's not one thing it's another. Some good news though I went to my skin specialist yesterday and no sign of new skin cancers, suffer from psoraisis badly though, you should see all the lotions and potions I have to use, I needed a list of instructions to use them will take me all day to treat myself. Have other stuff but get a bit lazy sometimes with all the rigmarol you have to go through and skip it sometimes.......

My daughter has had a lot of success with Tom McArthur's cream. If you google him you can see what he's on about. He's been on telly lately. If you need more info PM me.

Thanks Ma,
I did belong to a Psoriasis Society once (now defunct) where the members had used every type of treatment known to man, some work for awhile but nothing will fix it permanently.

Even if it gives relief for a little while it would be better than nothing. I know trying all these lotions and potions can run away with the $$'s.

Just been informed by my Financial Director (Mrs W) that the 15th Nov is no good for us, she has a specialist appointment, (1300) and it can't be missed, takes too long to get these appointment's with these guys.

The date is not set in concrete yet Wombat, Tezza said from the 15th, so don't despair we might have a firmer date later......
(Thanks for the heads up on the typo Wombat).......just keep those claws clipped for the intro's on the day....

any time 15/11 to 10/12 is good for us
Vic said

Suggest those interested look at their calendars and say what day would suit them in the time frame 15/11 to 10/12 so we can at least try to keep as many happy as possible........as said before, for travel and other reasons (traffic etc) probably mid week would be best.
If the choice of Sizzlers is suitable for everyone, their lunch is from 11AM to 4PM, having been with groups there before (you can ask for a group table, but they cannot guarantee one, although I have not missed out yet and they try to please) I always turn up early to secure the table.
With the meal, it is better for everyone to have their meal when it suits them after arrival, otherwise the servery can get congested and if someone is running late it doesn't hold everyone else up. I am suggesting this from experience.
Anytime from 11AM onwards is suggested. Sizzlers Innaloo is in the Cinema Complex so some may want to see a movie later if they have time to. Sizzlers give Seniors discount, Salad bar is cheapest, a bit extra if you want drinks (soft drinks/coffee/tea).

Vic, can't really give a date, because we are still waiting for specialist appointments, we do know the 15 Nov is out, but physio appointments will also follow on a weekly basis, we will not blame you if the date does not fit our schedule and will not be upset, but it would be great to meet up with members who love wombats.
below is the Sizzlers menu, a the current time there is a $12.50 lunch where you only have one visit to the salad bar, not sure if it will still be on at the date we intend to meet.
Thanks Wombat, I'll wait for a few more responses and then set a date after checking with Tezza.
For anyone who hasn't been to Sizzlers before the salad bar menu has hot food too included, as well as soup and sweets, so unless you want to pay for an individual meal (eg; fish/steak etc), it is enough to satisfy most people and a good choice of foods......

I am thinking a change in a lunch venue, Fast Eddy's at the Westfield Carousel in Cannington (on the Albany Highway) WA.
I am waiting for some feedback from an email I sent and then have to run it past Tezza. This may be more convenient for some and also a lot easier to find.
Let you know further details later, comments welcome.
Lunchtime Special from a midweek fixed menu is 11AM to 3PM, other items available my be more expensive, possible seniors/pensioner discount (to be advised...checking with boss). The menu is great but not posted on website yet. Feel free to ring if you want to check it out yourself with Cannington. Vegetarian dishes also.
Ok for a table for our group, but need to know who may be coming so I can work out numbers for a table, also we cannot leave it too late to book as many people having early X'mas get togethers etc. Looking at 15th to late November at this stage.
