I have the same amount of shots Womby but unforunately taken 4 years ago, got them all printed out, looong before I learnt how to put them on the laptop and save.

Gee we travelled from Darwin to Gold Coast, snap snap snap, just had to keep taking photos so I would never forget the things we were seeing, got them all printed out, unfortunately now they just sit in a cupboard and we very rarely think about them, wish I knew then what I know now, not that I know much.

Pauline, pick out the best ones and scan them and make up a folder or folders of all the scanned pics.....that way you will have them digitally as well and you can set them up as a screen saver on your pc. You could also copy them to CD.
