This is not in my Camps 4 book, don't know about the later additions.
Girgarre is in between Echuca - Shepparton , about 20 ks up the road from Greens Lake.
Small town that has a good monthly sunday market. In the middle of town there is a free camping area with hot showers and a dump point. You can even fill your water tank they say.
I haven't been there but JazzinAround is there doing a market today. She was surprised to find such a good camping spot and may stay a couple of days. I will go check it out next time I'm over that way.

Have to agree with you Shogun, would be a great place for anybody whose been staying at Greens Lake a while and looking forward to a nice hot shower, before moving off again. Or for ones at the lake who want to pop over there and back, quick trip. Not everyone has set up showers in there rigs.

Went there for the country music workshop in January, great spot and not too far from Rochester for groceries

Is the camping area you mention in the Showground in Wallace Street?

The camping was in a park in a main street just opposite the local shop, ask in shop for details

As an update to this camp, February 2019
There is shower, toilets, and drinking water, (did not spot a dump point)
There is a donation box, (for staying there), in the shower room
The post office over the road, has very limited food
