We have a caravan but decided to build a Teardrop for those short trips, a couple of nights away, where towing the bigger van was a pain for such a short stay.
The Teardrop passed its roadworthy and was registered last week. We have a Falcon but did the test run with a 1.4 litre Getz which towed it no trouble at all. Sat on a steady 80kph with a few hills in the mix as well.
The bed space is queen size and the galley is under the hatch at the rear. The main cabin has doors both sides for convenience.
A wee bit of trim to finish off and we will take it for an overnight run.

Thanks for the shots SD, they call me (VHW) Vic here among other things (ie; by Wombat).

You've done a great job and I will look forward to the first trip report.
And I see you haven't managed to change the date on your camera yet.
Cheers
Ross
