could any one recomend a good brand 12 volt tv/dvd player ????

I have a conia, bought on ebay for $239 with built in dvd player, and more plug ins than I can use. With a boosted aerial, I get all the dig and analogue channels avail in my area. Runs well on 12v. Bill

I bought a 32" Teac from Retravision for $269.Edge lit LED with integrated DVD.It also has a USB connection so you can record directly to a 320 gig max size hard drive.It will play any hard drive stuff of any size, if prerecorded.
You can load some stuff on before you go away and if TV reception is bad you can still watch your recorded movies Etc.
Works on 240 volt and 12 volt DC.

just installed kogan 19" led with built in dvd works great
purchased off e bay $132.50 plus freight $30.00 ish
had to bid on a few to get at this price but it helps to pass time
Had a Kogan in the last van 19" tv with DVD and 12 volt, could not fault it Ken

We have just purchased a 19" LED Kogan Tv with the pvr and dvd plus the 12volt lead $229.00 delivered.
I had a bit of trouble setting it up in the shed, but once I took it in the open all worked well and received all available channels.
I also on the advice from the local TV Technician I upgraded the cabling on our Explorer TV antenna to Quad core coax cable and it also helped.( apparently this is advisable to do with digital reception).
Go to the Kogan site and subscribe for their news letter and you will recieve advice on their frugal friday specials.

Can't complain about my Kogan 16" LED 12 & 240 volt TV. Only cost $129 plus $30 postage.
Kogan is one of the companies that Harvey Norman is trying to target 'cos they are getting most of the online business.

I found that if I went into the sound adjustment and tuned the bass up and the treble down and it reduced the tinny sound considerably of what there is, being a small TV I did not expect it to have the sound output that the larger TV in the house has.
When we watch a movie we run the sound through a patch lead via the ear plug socket on the TV and the ear plug socket on the Radio, this is something we did with the other TV as well.
