Me too, the more registered donors they have the more lives will be saved, which could be one of our loved ones needing an organ, so well worth doing for all concerned.
I am also a live kidney donor, but they can have all the rest when I kark it, see my story here;
Blue's daughter is in need of a double lung and heart transplant. Know how anxious the wait can be.

Cripes Ma, my sympathy goes out to Blue's daughter and you all, that's a big one. Hope she gets "That Call" soon, while it is sad for the donor's family, it is life saving for the living.
I am involved with Transplant Australian in WA and we have a couple of lung/heart transplant recipients among our members, one I know even takes part in the Australian and World transplant games.
Those waiting for a transplant on the waiting list can also join Transplant Australia, see www.transplant.org.au
This is one information and support group in WA for Heart and Lung Recipients, lots of good info there, other states should have something similar;
