Gidday all !! I was in ballarat today and seen a caravan i really like, and strange as it may seem, swmbo also likes it, but !! i have not heard of the brand before so maybe someone out there can assist the brand is ''Safari'' they are made in campbellfield [ arn't they all ]
The model we like is the 18' 6'' Delta with full ensuite , so is anyone out there with any info on these vans, i will accept all comments but would love to hear from an actual owner if possible
The ballarat dealer used to sell the 'Crusader' vans also, but now concentrates on the Safari vans as he found the customers were prefering it over the Crusader
Thanks Dazren [ if your out there John you can PM me ?? ]

Thanks gst for the quick reply, but i think not !! as the caravans look Localy made and they are fitted out with all local brand appliances, [Ibis a/c, dometiic fridge, etc, ] and the dealer assures me they are made in Cambellfield Vic Q uality and finish of the vans remind me very much of the 'Elite ' brand which i also like, Also the Safari can be made to order with delivery time 3-4 months ???? however thanks for your input Dazren

To the best of my knowledge Safari Caravans are mainly a contract builder that manufactures van for dealers under the dealers brand name. It would appear that they are now also manufacturing under their own brand name.
As for quality and warranty etc, I can't comment as I know absolutely nothing about this company or its products.
Though I would query any saleman that says his custromers prefer Safari to Crusader. That's a huge statement as these days Crusader have a reputation for quality and service second to none.

Good day Dazren,
Just going over some old news and i came across your query regarding "Safari delta" caravans, i wondered whether you took it any further as i have a "Delta 20"had it for a little while now and could not be happier being made in "Aus" in campbellfield, ours has a full ensuite, recliner seats, saterlite tv, and all the normal things.
the caravan seems to be very well made (so far) and the price was very good compared to similar caravans.
