I spent two nights at the Tiaro QLD (south of Maryborough) free-camp and found it a pretty good spot. Tiaro is a small town - pub (one on main Hwy and a historic one out of town a bit), supermarket, cafe.
It was a very popular free-camp with 16 campers first night and 18 the next.
However, when I woke up on the Sunday morning the attached 'flyer' was under my windscreen. In the July Caravanner's News article it said there were no showers but this flyer seems to indicate there are showers 'for a gold coin donatioin'.
I was heading north so did not go through Bauple but just passing this on to those who may be interested.
Sure are .... I used to live in Maryborough and environs as a kid in the 50s and 60s .... I was brought up calling them Bauple Nuts .... when I went to Victoria and someone offered me a Macadamia Nut I said I had never heard of em or tried em .... how surprised was I when they gave me a Bauple nut .....
Cheers
John

Tiaro has great hot showers in the toilets up towards the main road, walk through the kids playground. Also, there's a 4th generation butcher shop (on the main road) that sells the best smoked goods ie chicken, meat, sausages etc. all prepared on the premises.
Gday...
