Hi! Recently retired after over 30 years at same job. But now it is the open road, cant wait and very excited as never done anything like this. I pick up my home on wheels early August then i will be heading North from Melbourne for a few months, after that not sure where i will be going. Looking forward to seeing this wonderful country at last and of course playing lots of bowls along the way. see you out there somewhere.

Hi and welcome Sharon. Tell us about your "home on wheels". They play bowls up north in the dry season or winter in southern language. You can play bowls almost all year if you play your cards right. Oh, that's another game. Have fun. Safe and happy travels.

And Welcome from me too. If you get over our way (WA) at any time, the Top Tourist Caravan Park at Carnarvon has it's own bowling green and there is another up that way that escapes me at the moment, must be a few others around the countryside (in C/Parks) that member may know.

Hello Sharon and Michael and welcome to the Forum. You will find lovely people and rather a madhouse at times - but that helps to keep it exciting.
Cheers, Helen
