Click on "SEARCH" top centre of the screen. In the Blue Band.
Type in "Water Tank" and click on "Search"
Few threads on tank maintenance etc.
We always keep our Tank "Full" at home with about 4 "Milsons" Tablets thrown in down filling spout and then the tank topped up to wash them into the tank. Bigger volumes of water will require more tablets. Read the packet for dosage.
Drain the tank, and refill with fresh water the day before we head out anywhere with the Avan.
We drink our tank water as well.
Regards
Mike

A dose of chlorine will kill any bugs in the tank. Unscented household bleach or swimming pool chlorine is cheap and highly effective.

When I came home this time, I added some Domestos to the tanks, topped them up and will drain them before I head off again...after draining them, I will rinse them with a little more water and them fill them again. I have never had a problem (Touch wood)
And when I drain them, I either put the water on my lawn, or in the pool....not down the drain.
