Staying tonight at Charleville at the Cobb and Co van park in Ridgeway street and noticed a sign that said "discount for solo's."
One to add to your list and its a nice tidy little park as well.

We stayed at theBailey Bar Park a few years ago and finished up with a site where the concrete slab was edged by a herb and veg. garden. As long as we watered it and looked after it we were welcome to use the produce. Very pretty.

My last memories of Charleville were last month, May, when the Qld transport task force booked me for not carrying a book in which we are to record our movements. Now that's not bowel movements, it oversize pilot movements. The triplicate book is a useless exercise of administration, but for not carrying it I was fined $400. I've appealed, still awaiting the outcome. I love that country out there. I grow gardens if I can, on the site I'm parked. Enjoy where you are.

Stayed at the Top Tourist park there last year around this time.
Did you see this bloke playing the Harpsicord at the local museum (old Queenslander house), he was magic !!
The new-ish Evening Star caravan park, about 7km out of town on the Adavale road is excellent. We used to stay at Bailey Bar, on our fairly regular trips through Charleville, but much prefer Evening Star, which has defined, drive through sites. The other one could be a bit irksome, when really busy, with few defined sites vans were often squashed in tightly.

Squashed in tightly is even an understatement wendyv. We woke one morning to find a van 12" from our fold down step & had a job to get out in the other one you refer to. Had to shower at 3am to get one & $35 for the nite to boot, never again.

This little one I think was about $25. Its in the Camps book so it can't be too much more than that. Nice people and not squishy at all.
