Does anyone have any first hand knowledge about Ginseng. I am told it is good for lowering blood glucose levels and also cinnamon does a good job too.

I know Cinnamon is very good. I mix it with honey and have it every day. Hope its reducing something. Either blood sugars or cholestoral. I do have a full printout my sister sent me. Will have to read it through.

Ok. No mention of sugar levels but found this among many cures.
Cholestoral: Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons of cinnamon powder mixed in 16 oz of tea water will reduce the level of cholestoral by 10 percent in 2 hours.
It does say these doses will not affect adversely any diabetic patients.

Hi Ma, I found this site for you to have a look at: www.naturaltherapypages.com.au They do say, and I quote: 'With ginseng, the ability to concentrate may be decreased and blood sugar may decrease to abnormally low levels.'
So please be careful with how you intend to use it.

For me a quick walk works wonders for lowering BS, good for the heart too. I measure by blood sugar levels three times a day so i know it works.
Thanks for the link CCB will certainly follow that up.
