A friend has one and it is brilliant, we had the yummiest roast and it even cleans itself; how good is that? Have to get one before the next trip.

The Aldi one was a special for a limited time so I doubt it would be still available. The Easycook ones are the most expensive but they are Australian made. I bought my Easycook with FF points that were about to expire. I think there are others available for around $70 - $80. Other "GN forumsters" may have more info.
A trick I do is to put alfoil in the bottom to catch the drippings and make easy cleaning even easier. You need to put a rack on the alfoil to stop it blowing around.

I just bought one of those last week but not tried it out yet. Got it as it was the only one left in the (nth Albury) store and our coaster does not have an oven.
The enclosed booklet does (briefly) suggest temps & times etc but if anyone here uses one I would appreciate any hints, receipes and or links, thanks Sue

Most times & temps will be similar to a fan forced oven (which is in effect what the turbo is.)
Spray spuds with olive oil and sit on rack, low fat but delicious, buy the dirty spuds, they're best for this. Works with pumpkin, kumera etc too.
PS: I noticed my local Bi-Lo supermarket had on sale George Forman turbos for (I think) $49. They may be at Coles/Kmart too perhaps

Hi Sue & K,
If you Google the Easycook site, you'll find where to buy there Cookbook and Instruction Manual, which is very comprehensive, and 88 pages long. It costs $11.00 online.
