Ahh! It feels so good to be on our way, we are at Balranald and heading west, when we get to Pt Augusta we'll turn right. Lots of caravans and motor-homes on the road, fascinating scenery, country getting drier as we go.
G'day Gerty, hope you both have a wonderful trip; just wish we were on the road as well.
cheers,
ozi2
ps: Dont forget to avoid Spuds roadhouse if you need fuel, Woomera and Glendambo 10cents a litre cheaper.

Have a good trip. I'm certainly a bit over watching from the sideline & wish my van would turn up so I can hit the road and stop thinking about it
I'm not getting any younger and my days are numbered

Yup! Already phoned to book. He said there was tons of room, but thought I'd need to check as its school hols in SA.
Thank you all for your kind wishes
Presently at Barmara, overlooking lake Bonney, along with lotsa families in tents, kids on bikes, dogs, blokes with tinnies and jet skiers. Banrock Station Winery is in this district, we are planning a visit tomorrow. (May have to jettison something to allow for the extra weight!)

I'm off to Queensland for 9 weeks. Heading inland from Sydney and up to Mt Isa then over toward the coast
