Talking to some friends who manage a station just out of Larrimah in NT - they are currently flooded in - had to have food helicoptered in the other day - there sure is a lot of water out there - we will all need to be careful where we go - it is still flowing all over the place, raining here in SE Qld today and yesterday.
So all take care - keep a check on the BOM sites and stay safe.

Its not raining, here, in Nth QLD. But we had a bit of a thunder storm just before. We have had 96 inches since xmas-8 ft of rain, and 32 inches this month so far.So you can see, we would rather it rained somewhere else.Going south to Noosa, for a week on Tuesday.

Saw on a program on TV this morning film of the flooding at Birdsville. They said travellers are ignoring the road closed signs and then needing to be rescued. The locals know better.
They said be careful or stay away at the moment.

It's raining in Moruya and has been since we got here on Friday. Today has been the worst though and there's a flood warning out for the Moruya river but we are pretty safe where we are camped.

I'm so over the humidity! I've had Asthma for a few weeks and just can't seem to shake it. Feel like packing up and going west for a week or so. It might be wet out there, but maybe less humid.
Just need to whinge, sorry.

We've got the humidity down here too Beth, been unbearable and most unusual. Sick of it.

Well, it may be out west too.
I've lived here all my life with humidity, but these days, it plays merry hell with the Ashtma.

We were rained out last night, the town was inundated. Trees and power lines down, roofs missing, pubs and retirement homes flooded.
A nightmare and 99% humidity to boot.
Our garage was flooded but others fared worse.

Stopped here for now too mate, but looks like it could have another go.
Its all but dried up though. Amazing how much damage a twenty minute storm can do thats for sure.
So all take care - keep a check on the BOM sites and stay safe.
