If you have something to say to one person only, which will mean nothing to anyone else why not PM them?

Just to clarify Delta18. Jimbo was talking generally to the Vince featured in our front page story rather than to a particular forum member. Click here http://www.thegreynomads.com.au/ to read the heartwarming tale of Tyson and Vince.

Gee those Staffies are tough dogs! This one was 10 years old and survived 2 jumps from vehicles and was still trying to follow his owner! Wow! Hope hes in a nice safe harness from now on.

I also made a comment about it in Travelling with Pets. So glad Tyson is safe and a warning to us all to keep out dogs restrained while in the vehicles.

While on dog stories, this happened last year way out in dingo land WA. Peter was detecting away as you do, and a little dog ran up to him, thinking that some one was around he yelled out "your dog is here" after a hour he had worked his way back to the tojo, the little guy ate his sandwitch and drank a lot of water.. He called on every channel on the uhf. Zip.. Looks like you got a new owner mate .. He then drove back along a dust track for a few ks. At a crossroad he met a caravan going along the path. stopping he walked over to the the van to say hi ect. The lady was quite up set and explained they had lost their little "buddy" some 3 days ago and had spent all that time looking for him. But was sure the dingos had killed him or he had picked up a bait.. Peter pointed to his tojo and said dose he look like that.. this is a true story. After many tears and hugs they went on their way back to Perth with a very lucky "Buddy" A few minites each way.???

Oh, that is a heatwrenching story BobnBev. You can imagine it happening but hope it never happens to you and your little mate.
