Great poem - we are our worst effenders - we buy cheap imports instead of buying Australian & then we wonder why nothing is made in this fantastic country...... Its Buy Australian or BYE BYE Australia...

Wouldn't it be great if we had a section...Purley and simply for expressing our thoughts and feelings....Those of us who don't agree don't have too log on.....to that area..Even the newspapers are too scared to say anything for fear of a Terrorist attack on their soft approach to the pending problem like in the UK and Germany  throw Holland into the mix as well.

As soon as they work themselves out in Europe...I believe it will be the beginning

Yes, I'm sure we all know how lucky we are NOW. We want to keep it that way. That's what this poem is saying. While we are generally a prosperous, thoughful, generous country, there are signs it may not always be that way if the current trend to sell off assets and utilities to overseas "investors" continues.

Why wait till our luck runs out to start doing some thing about it, every day we are being draged down to the level of other countries.

 

I think there is a site that was set up about 1 year ago for people to say what they want to , I think it is called ABB

Thanks for your input everybody. I think I'll close those thread off now as there is a danger this one will get a bit too far off topic. I have had to moderate a couple of posts as this forum doesn't wish to cause offence to anyone.
