Love my Op-shops. Friend asked me on Wed. to keep an eye out for extra trays for an Ezi-dry Dehydrator. Checked on the net, and they are $19.95 each to buy spares.
Had her a full Ezi-dry Dehydrator [4 tray] for $10.00 [New price for that size over $300.00.] by 9.30 next morning. Couple of hours later at another one, found her an Apple Peeler, Corer, and Slicer made by the same mob, which is $40.00 to buy new, for $5.00.
Both items for less than the cost of one tray.
Love my Op-shops.
Cheers, Sheba.

Me too, there is at least 5 in Echuca/Moama so do them weekly. Pick up a few good bargains each time. Got a large sized pillowslip for 50 cents yesterday. Needed it to pop some lengths of sponge in to make a height thingee for Punky to sit on to see out window when we are travelling. Fitted exactly.

Got'ta love them op-shops (and car-boot sales), picked up an oblong enamel dish (just like the one my Nanna had) and a large aluminium roasting tray from the local church boot sale for 50c each. The enamel dish is great for shepherd's pies etc - great size for just the two of us, and the roasting tray is good for putting the cooked meat in when having a barbie. I also picked up from the local Hospice op-shop a couple of enamel dishes (20c each) - great for small quiches etc and fit into my little electric oven nicely when on the road, plus they are great for onions done on the barbie. The other thing they are good for is Christmas decorations and T-shirts. For a dress up/dress down day at the local bowls club, Pete picked up a T-shirt with a print of shirt front/bow tie, and a 'mess jacket' for $5.
If I knew how Raine would have me keep every op shop in the GPS............ please don't tell me how

I love them too, particularly when the kids were small.
At a Melbourne Cup Luncheon years ago when we lived in NT, I won a prize for best dressed!
The whole outfit, cream & red, cost about $10! I even wore a lovely cream hat with red ribbon from my sewing box!
I was chuffed!

Yes always hit the op shops people we met on the road told us they buy their winter clothes for on the road in the op shop then when they hit the heat they put the winter clothes back in the op shop and get their summer clothes there god idea I guess saves on space in the van if you need to pack summer and winter clothes. Gotta luv the op shops for some great bargains, another favourite of mine for bargains is the good old garage sales, yesterday I picked up a 9W 240/12v wild country camp lamp for the princely sum of $1. When I told a friend of mine, the reply came back "But what if it doesn't work?", my reply was "Well if it doesn't, considering I only paid $1 for it, it's not a big deal" BTW I charged it up last night and it works a dream!!!
Keep Smiling

You beat me there. I got a Coleman a few weeks ago for $5. Have to buy a re-chargeable Battery for it, but it works well plugged in to the Cig. Lighter at the moment.
Cheers, Sheba.

Hi Jimbo, sure is a bowls bag - we both learnt to play at Bongaree Bowls Club, much smaller than Bribie, and a lot friendlier too!
Had a game up here in Tsv last Friday, so damn hot I don't mind tellin' you, but was chuffed with myself that I played so well after so little time learning.
