Lost one of my Kids a couple of hours ago.  The little honey coloured  one Wombat was having fun with a couple of weeks ago.   Don't know if it was a snake, or a Heart attack.  At least it was very quick.

Still got Angel.  I guess I'll survive.

Thanks every-one.  Angel was with him when he went.  I was in another room.  She's been even quieter since, and is lying next to me at the moment.

oh thats not good sheba thoughts are with you damn snakes weve had heaps here lately one got in mybird cage and ate my white finch who lays all the eggs also ate her five babies who were only a week old and her other eggs. Hate snakes

Got an idea it may have been the Heart Attack, Della.   Remember the Vet saying he had a heart Murmur last time we were there.

Much as I love my snakes, I know they can be a real Problem with Birds.   I know Pythons will even knock holes in Birdwire to get in.

 So sorry sheba, there are a lot of doggy people on these sites, and as such, we have all been in the place you are at present, and we know the pain and loss that you are feeling, and the only thing that eases the pain is time !
I am not a religious person, however if i ever do get to meet our maker ! we are going to have a blue ! as to why he lets us get so attached to our doggies, and then gives them a lifespan of 10 - 15 years, and we live 70 - 80 years, which means we go through the heartache of losing our doggies to many times, it's just not fair, BUT, don't they give a lot of joy while we do have them. So chin up sheba, and you give Angel lots of cuddles, as she is missing her mate, and she knows you are missing him to, Time Will Heal !!! dazren

That is so sad mate, and it hurts like the bejeebers, losing a family member.

My daughter and son in law lost one of their dogs last week to a brown snake.

Sheba, How old was Devil? Could have been a heart attack, he looked to have a good age on him in the photos.

Only 9 Marj.  Should have had a lot more years yet.   Some live to 25.

Sheba, only just seen this topic, sorry to hear about your loss, you will miss him. 

Too true Sheba, my Mindy reached 17, which I thought was a good age.

So sorry Sheba, I know the pain of losing a pet, lost one ouselves a while back and18 months later I still look for him. Time will heal.
