if the one on the left is direct from the camera then there could be a problem with the camera not being setup correctly, what was the setting you used for the living sculptures?
what camera do you have? make and model no please

Hi Wombat,
At work at moment, busy with end of month processing and returns.
Not sure which camera I used, think it may have been the Sony DSC, not SLR , and if so, would have been on auto.
Cheers Ross

Try a couple of shots not on auto, it may remove the colour cast over the image, on a shot like the Living Sculptures it looks like it was late in the day and your twilight option may have been better for that shot.
what model do you have TX5, HX5C S1900 TX10 answer later after work, do not want to get you in trouble with the boss.

thanks Wombat.

Not a matter of not trusting you, usually when I try something remotely technical, it takes about six goes before I get the gist.

the emus were on the road to Menindee, there were heaps of them.
Going crazy with the photos now.......
Been out to Flinders Ranges too.
had a go at some changes to a couple of your shots, hope you do not mind, made them a bit brighter.
I thought they looked good before, they look a damn sight better now. Thanks.
I've enhanced a few shots myself but I've got way too many photos, and not enough time, to play around with them all.
Cheers
Ross
Here is the before and after.......
