Can anyone suggest where I can purchase a toilet seat riser to fit a Thetford seat, model Aqua Magic 5 model. I've already called the importers of this brand Cequent, but they could not help. Thank you.

I have one on the end of my wrist.
sorry for that but I could not really help with your question, hope somebody can be more helpful.
Here's a link. Don't know why one of these wouldn't fit the Thetford. Op-shops some-times have them too.
Cheers, Sheba.

Have just fitted out my mothers house with one (amongst other things to assist her). Assisted living organised it all so don't know source but I would think there would be specialist shops that sell them. You might find one that suits your purposes.

Lets get technical. Perhaps we should contact Microsoft, and see if the have a program for raising toilet seats.I can inagine Bill Gate trundling down the microsoft, in Oregon, writing a new program to rival windows 7 , as every body has a toilet seat. The mind boggles...........

You will find that larger chemist shops have them, or will know where to find them. You might need to check our several before you find one which fits the Thetford and the user.
Good luck!

My first reaction to this post was to have a bit of fun with it too, but I realise that this is a serious issue for people with disabilities and/or mobility problems.
Simple aids such as these can go a long way to helping people lead a near-normal lifestyle.
there's probably an app for that!!
some of those places that sell wheelchairs and such might have those seats, like a wheel chair but has the toilet seat thing on that, seen one at my dads hospital the other day, its on wheels too i believe.
