Hi fellow nomads!
Just thought I'd mention, we are staying on a 4 acre property just outside of Perth doing a couple of hours work a day in return for a site with electricity & other facilities.

The lovely people running this place are looking for the odd nomads to drop by & give them a hand with things. Unluckily, myself & Hylda have no trade skills but they still find plenty of odd jobs to keep us busy.

By the photo you can see that the place has a lovely pool/bbq yard which is very welcome during these hot months.

If you are a grey nomad & a retired tradesman or have any skills that could help, they would be happy to recieve an email from you when you're in the Perth area

They've just put an add in the Western Australian section of 'Help Wanted' on this site if you are interested.

Great post H & J The place looks fantastic, should draw some interest from the members here I am a couple of years away from making a trip that far away [ i am in vic ] but when my time arrives it would be perfect, free accom, for a couple of hours a day, would suit me, it would also break some of the boredom, and give an added interest. thanks for the info. This looks like a really interesting place. Thanks for telling us about it. But, just one stupid question, (and please bear in mind that I'm new to this forum) where is the 'help wanted' section?

Go to the home page of the Grey Nomads: http://www.thegreynomads.com.au/

Then on the left hand side a little way down select 'Help Wanted' then select the state desired.

Thanks for that guys, we were to be on our way  to perth next week to meet the new g'daughter but this house sit job has gone from 6 weeks to 6 or 7 months but will put that in my little black book of useful info for when we do get there.
