Given that manufacturers of vehicles seem to think that we want electric windows and all the gadgets, I think it would be interesting to see how many of us would prefer electric to wind up windows? As the poll seems to be a bit too hard for me a simple yes or no would suffice. cheers Pete - as for me - I hate them

I like electric windows. Then again, I don't understand why people still buy manual transmission vehicles when auto is available. Maybe it's an age thing.
Cheers. Tony

I like everything manual, windows, gears, etc etc.key locks.
I like to be in control and don't like the idea of something taking over and not allowing me to do what I think is right.

Not a great fan of electric windows - but love the front passenger side being electric, dont know how many times I have pulled up at intersection & been able to talk to car on left hand side to tell them door not shut, brake lights not working or the one that worries me the most, that one of their tyres is flat & nearly on the rim...... I really Love my little manual gear box, makes me concentrate on whats going on..

YES
I love electric windows gives me the optionof open of closed instead of having to stop to open passenger side and rear, central locking is great too when you have full hands.
Manual transmission though, Low 1st just isnt the same in an auto....

As I drive long distances solo, I like the idea of being able to control the passenger side window without having to stop and lean over. The same goes for electric mirrors, where I can see where I'm backing into marked spaces. Gadgets like auto windscreen wipers are a dead loss, just something else to go wrong and cost a motza to fix.
