We were travelling north from our daughters, near Coffs, towards the Gold Coast and fortunately decided to take the Teven road to bypass Ballina as the traffic was very heavy.  We stopped at Tintenbar for a pie and whilst eating it noticed a massive pall of smoke, obviously from an explosion.  Attached is the newspaper item.
