Hi all, back home after travelling 28,000km lap of Australia, 10 months duration & free camped all the time with my Troopy & 15ft Van.

What a fantastic trip Goana. 28,000 ks. How many times did you stop to get the Troopy serviced?

Well done! We're 15 mths into our 2yr lap of Aus & only done from Gladstone clockwise around to Perth & we still have to delay till March before heading further north. We have a WWOOFING job for a few weeks to save us some money while we wait.

Gosh guys, I think that 2 year time frame is sounding a bit optimistic - by the time you do all the wonderful stuff in northern WA, then Darwin and the rest of the NT, you could add another 12 months easy to that!

28,000km good effort, but tell us more, photos' would be nice the best place to stay ? places not to stay? places to see ? we are only on our first year out there only done 17000km

I'm soon to head off from here to slowly make my way to Perth after spending a lot of time on the Nullabor .. with anticipation to heading up the west coast about the same time as yourselves .. so will watch your movements with interest ..
