It will take me too long to go through all the Posts on the Campsites Thread, so I'm hoping it's OK to post this here.

A friend of mine who's on the road, needs a safe, not too expensive CP [or other] place to park his Caravan, and live in it, closer than 30 Ks from Adelaide.  One of his Family is in Hospital, possibly for quite some time, and he's found a Park 30Ks South, for 1 month at this stage.

He really needs some-where closer, where the 'van will be secure while he's at the Hospital.

Hi Sheba, depends which hospital, theres Bolivar caravan park abt 12Kms north of the CBD on Pt Wakefield Rd. Or City caravan park Hackney about 1Km from CBD.  Daryl

if you friend wants to be near the beach there's a caravan park at christies beach and another at moana just a little further south that one is right on the beach, then there is silver sands holiday park and another at maslins (not the nude bathing beach) but in the same area, the RAA here in SA put out a good caravan park book which will list all the parks close by i use it all the time bb

Belair National Park Caravan park would be closest to the Flinders Medical Centre. I don think any of the caravan parks close to town over the holiday period will be cheap though.

Brown Hill Creek CP is 7klm from Adelaide..but it could be full this time of the year http://www.brownhillcreekcaravanpark.com.au/
