Scary stuff - this weather is nuts - I'm in SE Qld - still waiting for it to get hot - don't know what to wear on any given day - someone told me that we are going to have rain for 14 days straight - so I reckon it will get nice and steamy if that happens.
Be careful out there guys - stay safe -

I'm in SA waiting for it to get warm. I planned to arrive here at the start of summer, but somehow I stuffed up.
We had a couple of warm days, but it's back to trackies and jumper again.
No wonder people get sick.

Rather cool here in the Hunter Valley as well and rain on the way. Its a feast or a famine isn't it.

I can't work out how the vehicle and caravan both came to be on the other side of the rails from the road or bridge. they must have driven down the wrong side. The waters not high enough to wash them both over the rails.

There maybe a news story there with that mate, I did read it earlier but didn't attach it. If I find the story I will post it. I think the water was higher when they were washed off.

I actually saw it on news on TV tonight and couldn't work it out then either.

We too saw that segment about the car & van being washed off - I don't know, I would be very very 'anti' going across a flooded (?) bridge/causeway. We're also in SE Qld, and at present in our home, we are being inundated with ants - gotta be plenty of rain on the way?????

Well we sure have had plenty down here PJ. Wettest November since 1993 and we still have today to go and it hasn't eased up yet.

Same here in tamworth we had lot of rain ..big storm again last nite .... if it keep going think the music festival might be bit quiet ..river had been up and down for 3 months now..our dams is at 106% so when it rains now all water has to come down river ...but in saying all that..the rain is still nice after 10 years of drought and trying to keep some plant alive in the garden with a bucket of shower water .....

Here in South East QLD we have not had a day over 30 degs yet. Water tank is half empty, and the ants are out. Brother in Vic is coping with floods. Its all a bit odd. I am betting that when we head off to Wuruma dam it will hit 40 or flood. lol

That tug and van in the water look as though they've been wash up against the bridge from further down. Looks like they got out OK, hope they were well insured!

You may be right Gerty, they could have been washed up against that barrier from a different area. Never thought of that.

Had to have come from some where else as it is on the up stream side of the bridge.

Petengale, agree about temps, but our water tanks & dam constantly overflowing (in SEQ). Agree ants are out, but this has not been major issue this year.
