Hi All, after a bad experience at another forum I'm now hoping this one fair's a tad better, a real shame as it was a great little site (spoilt by a minority as usual) never mind I hope as I'm in the right age group the clientell maybe a tad more moderate and understanding (I'm definately grey and a bit of a nomad) , cheers, Danda

There are some really different forums out there...., I wonder if your speaking about the same one that I dont bother posting to, though I read it as there is often interesting stuff on there... some, if you are not an expert (read that as it may), your opinion is not worth having, here, at least an opinion/advice is just that, picked up, put down, but people are not savaged for having a say... thats what I love about this forum

What I like about this site is if some one get unfriendly it is quickly point out that their behavior is out of order , but this rarely happen

Yes Pete it sounds like the very same site, to be fair there were a few who told said TEAM member that you should never attack the man just the post but not only did it fall on deaf ears a member actually proved what I wrote was correct and still I was put down for talking a load of crap etc etc etc, look its done now and cant really be undone as they'd never apoplogise not that I'd want it but its the fact that these are caravan sites, the most helpful friendly honest people you could hope to meet, so it begs the question how does it end up in the toilet, still cant believe I had one guy actually accuse me of TAILGAITING him, what a joke as I work FOR the law !!! Whoops mighta lost a few buddies there but seriously I'm one of you's just a guy who likes to get away in the van and share experiences, tips, hints, jokes, everything (cept the dog & the Mrs) and more than anything get away from the insane enviroment the job entails so the last thing I want is conflict, anyway ranted far too long , a big thanks for the welcome looking forward to some good reading, cheers, Danda

If its the same site I joined and posted in, I had strips torn off me in my first post. Made me back out very quickly, only go in occasionally now for a bit of a read.

As I do Guru, so much talent there but not worth getting involved in specially when its a team clique , glad I'm not alone..........

danda, Guru is a status not a place. Its a step up from Newbie, Member and Senior Member etc showing how long one has been on here and how much they have posted.
