Now I'm not being critical, however check this rig out. Camped on council approved overnighter on perfectly level ground, there was this rig with a stone in front of and behind every wheel, including the jockey wheel - 18 stones in all! Just an idle thought that it my have been a slight overkill!

Why didn't he just buy wheelchocks from an auto-accessory place anyway? They'd look much nicer, and aren't heavy.
OK, OK, I know it's not about looks, but what happens when he stops somewhere without any convenient Rocks ? Don't tell me he carts them with him.
Cheers, Sheba.

Everyone knows that the earth is round and rotates on its axis.
Therefore, what may appear to be a level site now, may well change without you realising it.
Cannot be be too careful. Might roll of the edge.

I would have just put the car in gear and engaged the hand brake.
Or is that too simple?
I carry a couple of blocks of wood to chock the wheels when I pull up, but all those rocks are certainly over the top.
Perhaps he's a rock collector? Gemologist? Fossicker? Minerologist?

Some years ago i was in a sand and metal depot buying rocks believe it or not, my young daughter who was sitting in the passenger seat decided to put the car in neutral and release the hand brake just so she could see what would happen. The drivers side window was down so after catching up to the ever increasing speeding car and trailer as it rolled down a hill i half jumped though drivers side window and pulled on the hand break. The wheels locked but we kept on going skidding along happily, my legs swaying in the air outside the car and my daughter screaming in my ear we hit a chain wire fence and stopped.
The moral of the story is...
united we rock divided we sand

Jim, You're right, they probably would, I actually took another photo at the same time (a better one), however it did include their number plate, so I thought I'd better post the one that I did. Oh well! What the hell................. Life's too short not to have a bit of fun!!
