Gundarah - Farmstay - (content deleted by webmaster)
Sorry guys. We do not allow people to use posts on the forum to advertise their products, services or places to stay for monetary gain. Unfortunately, this one slipped through the net. If we had noticed it earlier, we would have immediately deleted it. Thanks to those of you who have sent messages about this - we really appreciate your concern. We would also be grateful if any of you notice more of this kind of 'advertising' happening here, if you could let us know and we'll promise to be more vigilant in the future.

Certainly sounds a wonderful place and will put it in my book for future reference, next year.
Maybe you should have put this in Free and budget campsites topic, where all the good campsites go.
Off to write this wonderful info in my book.

I googled 'gundarah' and it appears to be a business venture or possible scam. I doubt it is 'free'. Would certainly like to be proved wrong, as sure sounds nice.

I think i shall wait a while until we get some feedback from someone who has actually been there.........

I wondered how you could fit 45 acres into a court but then I thought. Well it is a big country, anythings possible.
Looks like wait and see. They don't say any prices but power and water connections available, thought they would have to charge for that.

Have already PM'd Cindy. Also PM'd Roger, and advised him of the No Advertising rule, just in case they were un-aware.
Cheers, Sheba.

Been quite a few freeloaders recently. Cindy has dealt with them in the appropriate manner.

$15 unpowered site $20 with power . No showers .
Vans must be fully self-contained .
Sounds a bit dear to me , but the Sunshine coast area is not known for reasonable prices .
There are , however , plenty of free parking areas around there .

G.... I'm gullible. I read it to be something similiar to Dougies offer in Chinchilla. Didn't see any prices and didn't go looking for them.

Gullible is too strong a word to put on yourself Marj. If you are anything like me you always see the good in things and people and expect them to treat us as we treat them..............unfortunately that very rarely happens these days.
I don't think you will EVER come across such a genuine a person as Dougie.

Dougie sounds a lovely gentleman and very genuine. Can't wait to park up there next winter.
I suppose I take everyone as genuine until I have been bitten.
Should have known with the business way it read.

I think if we thought it through..That this type of advertising could be put to our use...I love the word FREE and SPECIALS.....Maybe some farmers out there would tell us where we could camp free and admire their scenery...Even some business to advertise Specials.....Especially over the rip off season (School Holidays) Fair Dinkum worth a though Doen'nt any one think at all
I don't think it's a matter of not thinking Welcome, it's more that Cindy has rules and regulations and until such time as she changes them then we are all governed by those rules.
Now, having stepped down from my soapbox, I agree with all you said Welcome. I too am always interested in "freebies" and "specials"
Would be good if Cindy could maybe bend the rules a little bit if someone has a "freebie" that any of us might be interested in.
As for "specials" they are to my way of think would only be cheap advertising for people who are out to make a profit and gain free advertising. Again I am only replying in relation to the Grey Nomads Forum,
This is the "edit" bit:
I have just read Cindy's bit in the original post so my comments are probably superfluous.

I can't speak for Cindy but it may be that she (and we too) would look more kindly on these sort of posts if the poster were to buy advertising on the Thegreynomads site and/or be offering a special deal for members such as a discount or sponsorship of a competition as happened earlier this year.
