would like some advise as to what is the best caravan insurance around.

Welcome LS. We use the same as the tug and the house RACV. also have the road side thing . And we get a good deal from them...Good luck with the travels, its a good time, dont be in a hurry as you go Cliff......Bob n Bev

I use CIL make sure you compare apples with apples cheap does not mean best you judge your cover see that it will give you the best outcome if you need to make a claim , some cver hail damage some don't just one example do your home work

Hi Cliff, not sure where you are at, but we have our vehicles/van covered with RACQ , and have had great service from them for years.
