I reckon you're right Brookie. Saw some beauties when living up Cape York.
Cheers, Sheba.

You are right first time! The manta tried to eat my dinghy, but didn,t like smelly fishermen! The things at its mouth are little prawns. Magnicent creatures, aren,t they.We get them every year in H,shoe, and schools of golden trevally about 3kgs follow them about.

Don,t worry- they only eat tourists! I won a comp for the best sea wildlife pic with this shot , and $300, so I was very happy. We seem to get those odd , majic days here at times.

One of those "lucky shots". Well done!
It looked like a ray of some sort among bait fish or some kind.
All those little critters jumping about it.
One of nature's great moments. Lucky you!

IT happens all the time , but I never seem to have a camera in my mitt.I had a baby whale stick its head out of the water 20 ft away and eyeball me this year, but didn,t have a working camera.Bugga!

It's one of those special memories which will stay in your head forever.
I had that experience in WA, and the look from the whale is a very special look. Almost like people who are close can give each other without saying a word.
Now, that's special!
Cheers,
Sheba.
